SUMMARY:
The Department of Homeland Security,Citizenship and Immigration
Services requires that upon placement of your child you meet with
a social worker in your home to evaluate your child's adjustment
and functioning and your adjustment to
parenthood.
This
course is offered as a training to prepare you for those most
important visits with a social worker. This course is of
particular importance to those families who wish to adopt or
re-adopt in America as it is these post-placement supervisory
visits and the reports that your social worker writes which are
submitted to your local court and serve as the foundation for
review of your request for finalization of your
adoption.
This Class is 1 Credit Hour of Adoption Education.
